THEFT THWARTED OVERNIGHT
Brenham Police are investigating an attempted theft at a local business.
Thursday night, just before 10:00, Officer Ashley Burns responded to the 2100 block of S. Market in reference to a theft in progress.
The caller said there was a vehicle behind the fence of his business that wasn’t supposed to be there.
Cpl. Lance Weiss and Cpl. Seth Klehm arrived to assist. Klehm and his K9 partner, Ronny, cleared the area but the suspect had fled the area, leaving the truck behind.
The truck bed was full of metal. The case is under investigation.
