THIRD DAY OF EARLY VOTING DOWN FROM TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY

Early voting totals in Washington County continue their downward—but still strong—trend.

According to County Clerk Beth Rothermel, Thursday had 192 Republican voters and 38 Democratic voters cast ballots in their respective primaries, totaling 230 in-person early voters.  That is down from Wednesday’s 249 and Tuesday’s 270.

The three-day early voting total for both primaries is 749.

Early voting at the Washington County Courthouse Annex continues today (Friday) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  There is weekend voting this weekend only, taking place tomorrow (Saturday) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m.

The final day of early voting is next Friday, February 28th.  The primary elections are on March 3rd.
