THOUSANDS RUN IN BLUE BELL FUN RUN
The sound of thousands of rubber soles pounding on the roads of a scenic route was heard through Brenham and Washington County Saturday as well over 4000 runners and walkers ran in the 36th annual Blue Bell Fun Run.
Trophies were given out for the winners in numerous classes but everyone was a winner because they had all kinds of free frozen treats from Blue Bell Creameries.
The winners will be found on the sports section of the KWHI.com website.
The Blue Bell Fun Run began in 1978 to support the athletic programs at Brenham High School. In time it has become a rite of spring for Brenham.
