THREE ARRESTED ON POSSESSION CHARGES

  

Three people face charges after their arrests on drug possession charges over the weekend.

Friday, Brenham police responded to a disturbance just after 5:00 p.m., in the 2400 block of S. Chappell Hill St.

35-year old Luis Alberto Hernandez of Chappell Hill was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Public Intoxication.

Sunday morning, just before 3:30 police responded to a suspicious vehicle at Baylor Scott & White Hospital at 700 Medical Parkway.

30-year old Jose Ricardo Chavez of Houston, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Sunday, just before 9:00 am, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of US Highway 290 East due to an equipment violation.

23-year old Kaamil Abdullah-Smooth of Houston was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
