THREE FINALISTS LEFT FOR COLLEGE STATION CITY MANAGER

The pool of finalists for the College Station city manager position now has just three names.

Austin’s assistant city manager Robert Goode has withdrawn and is no longer in consideration.

The last three finalists are Jeff Capps, current interim city manager of College Station; Terrence Moore, city manager in College Park, Georgia; and Bryan Woods, New Braunfels assistant city manager.

The remaining finalists are scheduled for interviews on Monday and Tuesday, with a community meeting set for Monday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at College Station City Hall.

The College Station City Council could announce its selection by the end of the month.

The city manager position has been left open since March 30th, when Kelly Templin left to take a position at the Texas A&M University System’s RELLIS Campus.  He had been the city manager since 2013.
