The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Neo”, “Garfunkel”, and “Cookies and Cream” as its Pets of the Week.

Neo is a pit bull mix, just over a year old.  He’s a gentle giant who just needs a little love and affection for Valentine’s Day.

Garfunkel is a Lab mix, about eight months old.  He’s a goofball by nature, and is looking to find his true match.  He has grown up at the shelter, with all six of his siblings adopted.

Cookies and Cream is a young Heeler mix, who lives up to his name in that he is very sweet.  He also has a lot of energy, typical of the Heeler breed.

Animal Services Specialist Robin Hutchens said Saturday’s “Valen-tails Day” adoption event at the Brenham Pet Adoption Center and Puppy Dawgs and Cat Tails was very successful.

Hutchens thanked Citadel Christian School for their volunteer work at the event.  She also thanked Creekside Vet Service, Fabulous in Fur, Brenham Vet Hospital, Philips Vet Hospital, K’s Mutt Hut, Puppy Dawgs and Cat Tails, and Christina Newton for their donations.

If you would like to find your fur-ever friend, visit the Brenham Pet Adoption Center at 1804 Longwood Drive, or call 979-337-7361.
