TRAFFIC MOVING ON FM 60 AFTER WRECK IN BURLESON COUNTY

  

Traffic is now moving on FM 60 in Burleson County, after a multi-vehicle accident shut down the highway for several hours Friday afternoon.

According to Snook Volunteer Fire Department Chief Jonathan Collins, two vehicles collided head-on about a mile east of County Round 428, just outside of Lyons.  The fire department was dispatched to the scene shortly after noon.

One patient was believed to be in serious condition, and had to be extricated from the vehicle and flown by helicopter to the nearest hospital.
