TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO MULTIPLE CHARGES AGAINST HOUSTON MAN

A Houston man faces a slew of charges after a weekend traffic stop in Brenham.
Just after 9:30, Saturday morning, 39-year old Herman Whitfield was pulled over in the 900 block US 290 West.
During the stop, County Constable Brad Kuecker and his K-9 partner, Riley were called to assist.
Whitfield was charged with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance; Possession of Marijuana; Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon; and Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle.
Whitfield was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
