TRAFFIC STOP RESULTS IN POT ARREST

A traffic stop has led to an arrest for marijuana possession.
Saturday evening, around 11:30, Officer Hunter Andras said he saw a vehicle parked in the lot at Jackson St. Park after hours.
As he approached, the car attempted to drive past him.
Andras conducted a traffic stop, and reports he could smell the strong odor of marijuana.
The driver, 18-year old Deon Florello Burch of Brenham, admitted to having marijuana, while a passenger admitted to ownership of drug paraphernalia.
The passenger, 19-year old Shania Nixon of Dallas, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, while Burch was charged with Possession of marijuana under 2 oz.
