Two people have been arrested by Brenham Police on outstanding warrants.
Tuesday, around 1:00 p.m., police pulled over 63-year old Joyce M. Farrington of Brenham near the intersection of North Park St. and Veterans Memorial Drive.
According to police, Farrington was wanted on a local warrant for Injury to a Child, Elderly or Disabled—Reckless Bodily Injury.
Farrington was taken to the Washington County Jail.
Ninety minutes later, police were called to an accident on Highway 290 West near the cloverleaf.
One of the people involved, 21-year old Indoneesia Dejaneek Davis of Texarkana was wanted on an outstanding warrant for Injury to a Child.
Davis was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
