TWO ARRESTED SUNDAY NIGHT AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

  

A traffic stop Sunday night lead to the arrest of two men from Belton. Sunday night at 10:45, Brenham Police conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Highway 290 East. Jim Brown, age 44, and James Griffin, age 40, both of Belton were taken into custody and charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility.
