TWO AUTO BURGLARIES AT AQUATIC CENTER
Brenham police are investigating two auto burglaries in the parking lot of the Blue Bell Aquatic Center Monday.
Brenham police officer Jared Campbell was called to the scene just before five Monday afternoon, when two women complained that the windows of their cars were smashed and their purses taken. Their main concern was that their credit cards were taken. The investigation continues.

Why do people continue to take what they didn’t earn? Let’s put the blame where it lies, with the criminals.
Why on earth do people continue to leave valuables inside their cars? People need to stop making it easy for criminals…I feel terribly sorry for these two, but self-help is much simpler than dealing with the repercussions.
I SO agree, Fact Check! Yes, we should blame the criminals and we SHOULD be able to leave our things in the car and expect them to be there when we get back. But that is NOT the reality these days, and we shouldn’t put that kind of temptation out there. It’s sad…
