TWO INDICTED FOR PLOTTING TO KILL BRYAN COP

Navarro mugshotsTwo people accused of plotting to kill a Bryan police officer have been indicted by the Brazos County Grand Jury.

22-year old Ronnie James Lott and 47-year old Louisa Navarro were both indicted with third-degree felony obstruction or retaliation, which is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

The officer had arrested Lott's 29-year-old sister Stephanie Navarro, the daughter of Louisa Navarro. The daughter had been arrested and released for misdemeanor traffic charges and had placed a call to her mother while behind bars.

During that recorded conversation, Louisa Navarro threatened to kill the officer and went on to say the officer needed to be "eliminated," according to police reports.

The duo was arrested in August after police said Lott went to a Bryan church attempting to find and confront the officer, who was off-duty and with his family at the time.

According to an arrest report, Lott demanded to speak with the officer, who convinced Lott that he was not the person Lott was looking for.

  1. This Police Officer is probably overworked and underpaid and now these three criminals plotted to have him killed for doing his job. Hopefully these three spend a lot of time in prison to reflect on their actions! A said state of affairs.
