“UPTOWN SWIRL” COMING TO DOWNTOWN BRENHAM JANUARY
The popular “Uptown Swirl” wine walk will soon fill the streets of Downtown Brenham.
From 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 19th, guests are invited to visit downtown shops and sample wines from around the world.
Tourism and Marketing Director Jennifer Eckermann says the event has quickly gained a following.
Commemorative wine glasses act as tickets for the event, and they are on sale now at stores downtown, and online at www.downtownbrenham.com/swirl. Eckermann says the wine glasses are a great gift for the holidays.
Glasses are $35 through December 31st, going up to $40 beginning New Year’s Day. They can be picked up the day of the event, at the Washington County Courthouse Gazebo, or at any participating store.

Glasses can also be purchased at the Visitor Center (115 W. Main) if you need to pay with a credit card.
