VAN HOOK NAMED ALL-CONFERENCE AT TEMPLE J.C.
Former Brenham Cubette softball player Olivia Van Hook, presently an outfielder with Temple College, was named 1st team All-Conference in the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference.
Van Hook hit .408 in conference, led the team with 10 doubles and 2 triples. She hit .375 on the season and led the team with 15 doubles and 3 triples.
Temple College was the NTJCAC softball champions and won the Region 5 North tournament on Sunday to earn a berth in the NJCAA Div I softball World Series in St. George, Utah.
She played softball at Nicholls State University in 2014 and transferred to Temple College.
Olivia is a 2013 graduate of Brenham High School where she played volleyball and softball.
She was the 2013 Owen Erikson Female Athlete of the year.
Olivia has signed to play softball at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio next year.
