WALLER CO. HOMICIDE SUSPECT IN CUSTODY, FORMAL CHARGES PENDING
A suspect in a Sunday night homicide investigation in northeast Waller County has been taken into custody.
Waller County Sheriff’s Deputies and Texas Rangers were called out Sunday night to a homicide in the 25000 block of Winding Way, a mostly residential area roughly 20 miles northeast of Prairie View.
According to investigators, the suspect tried to flee the scene on foot, but was captured by deputies.
Deputies and Texas Rangers remained on scene Sunday night collecting and processing evidence.
No other details were immediately made available. Formal charges for the suspect are pending.
