WALLER CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE REPORTS ANOTHER SIGHTING OF SUSPECTED POLICE IMPERSONATOR

Waller County authorities are reporting another possible encounter with a man suspected of impersonating a law enforcement official.

Early Wednesday morning, a witness saw a black Dodge Charger with red and blue lights pulled over in the area of FM 359 and FM 362, near Brookshire.

The witness told authorities that a man got out, noticed other vehicles approaching, and got back into the vehicle.

The Waller County Sheriff’s Office believes this could be the same vehicle involved in an incident on Saturday on Joseph Road near FM 1488, in the Hockley area.

The victim in that incident said she was ordered out of her vehicle by a man who had a gun drawn.  She instead took off and drove to a family member’s home.  The Sheriff’s Office said the vehicle may have followed her to the neighborhood, but did not go in.

Anyone who sees an unmarked black, gray or dark colored Dodge Charger or similar looking vehicle with red and blue lights activated is asked to record the license plate—if they can safely do so—and call 911 or Waller County dispatchers at 979-826-8282.
