WALLER COUNTY VOTERS RE-ELECT SHERIFF GLEN SMITH

Waller County voters have re-elected Sheriff Glenn Smith.

Sheriff Smith was running against Cedric Watson- who is currently a reserve lieutenant with the Waller County constable's office.

Sheriff Smith won the election with 10,726 votes. Watson brought in 5,860 votes.

There were also two contested races in Precinct Three. Democrat incumbent Jeron Barnett was elected as County Commissioner for Precinct Three with 1,869 votes. His challenger, Republican Marvin Hood, pulled in 1,579 votes.

In addition, Precinct Three in Waller County saw a race for Constable. Democrat Herschel Smith won over Republican Scott Green. Smith brought in 2,403 votes, while Green pulled in 1,573.
