WASHINGTON CO. ADVANCES TO STATE LITTLE LEAGUE FINAL

The Washington County Minor All-Stars are still alive after they beat West End 13-4, Monday night.

Drake Bentke delivered the big blow with a three run homer and later added a double.  Landry Mendoza had three hits.  Ethan Aschenbeck reached base five times with two hits, two errors, and a fielder’s choice. He also scored three runs and had an RBI.  Owen Finke added a two run single, walked twice, and scored twice.  Ryder Biggs had a single, scored a run, and hit a sac fly.

Washington County next faces Bellaire for the State Championship, Tuesday night.  If Bellaire wins, they take the State Championship.  If Washington County wins, the same two teams meet Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m.
