WASHINGTON CO. LADIES LIONS DONATE $5,000 TO BRENHAM HONOR GUARD

The Washington County Ladies Lions Club recently presented a sizable donation to the Brenham Honor Guard.
At the Club’s meeting Monday, the Brenham Honor Guard was given a check for $5,000. The Honor Guard received proceeds from the Club’s annual raffle fundraiser earlier this year.
Brenham Honor Guard Services Coordinator Kenneth Mueller spoke to Club members of their 20 years of service to veterans, along with the value of the donation. In the past 12 months, honors were directed for 35 veterans.
