WASHINGTON CO. MAN ARRESTED ON WARRANTS
Update: The Washington County District Attorney's Office reports that the charges were dropped and the case against William Edward Dannar was dismissed.
Two Washington County men are in custody after their arrests by county sheriff’s deputies on outstanding felony warrants.
Friday Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies executed two Felony level arrest warrants on William Edward Dannar, a 53 year old Washington County resident after he was indicted by the 21st Judicial District Grand Jury on December 5, 2013.
The arrest took place in the 3000 Block of Lomax-Harmel Road near Burton.
Dannar is charged with Sexual Assault of a Child and Continuous Sexual Assault of a Child.
Bonds totaling $600,000.00 were set by District Judge Carson Campbell.

During the arrest deputies observed, in plain view, a plastic baggie containing a clear crystal substance which field tested positive for Methamphetamine.
A second man identified as 43 year old Denton Lee Foster was arrested and charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Both suspects remain in the Washington County jail.
