WASHINGTON CO. PECAN SHOW WEDNESDAY AT WASHINGTON CO. FAIRGROUNDS

  

The 2019 Washington County Pecan Show gets underway tomorrow (Wednesday) at the Washington County Fairgrounds.

Judging begins at the Fairgrounds tomorrow morning at 9 a.m.  Each exhibitor will have 42 pecans from the same tree, from the 2019 crop.

Judging will take place in three divisions: classic, commercial, and native.  Entries will be judged on weight, percent kernel, color, and freedom from insect and disease damage.

Entries should be in paper bags and have the exhibitor’s name, address, telephone number, and the variety name of each sample listed on the bag.
