WASHINGTON CO. TO HOST WALK-UP COVID-19 TESTING SEPTEMBER 28-30

Washington County will provide three consecutive days of walk-up COVID-19 testing next week.

The testing will be held next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (September 28-30) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the VIP Building of the Washington County Fairgrounds.

Emergency Management Coordinator Bryan Ruemke said the testing is free to the public and open to anyone who wants to get tested, regardless of if they are symptomatic.  The testing will be done using the cheek swab method.

Those looking to get tested do not need to register beforehand, but they will need to bring an ID and provide contact information in order to be notified about their results.  Ruemke said results should take about 48 hours to receive.

  1. I hope not one person shows up for these tests.. This is just another way for the govt to make up numbers…. Especially since the cheek swab is not even close to accurate, The numbers will be lower when the testing stops…
