WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS HAVE MORE WORK TO DO ON CERTZ
The Washington County Commissioners will once again visit the County Energy Transportation Reinvestment Zone proposal when they meet Tuesday at the courthouse.
The County Commissioners established the CERTZ at their meeting on February 25th in order to receive a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation to repair the excessive damage county roads caused by oil and gas drilling equipment .
When the Commissioners meet Tuesday they will they act on rescinding the order and then establish a new and modified zone in Washington County.
The County Commissioners will also act on approving of the donation of a handicapped equipment van to Washington County for use by the Washington County Healthy Living Association.
The Commissioners will also act on a request to the State Comptroller for Washington County’s portion of funds due to unclaimed capital credits received by the Comptroller from electric cooperatives in the years 2012 and 2013.
The Washington County Commissioners will meet Tuesday morning at nine at the courthouse.
