WASHINGTON COUNTY FARM BUREAU ATTENDS TEXAS FARM BUREAU DAY IN AUSTIN

  

Representatives from the Washington County Farm Bureau attended Texas Farm Bureau day in Austin last week.

Washington County Farm Bureau President Larry Winkelmann, his wife Donna, and Director Linda Oberhoff were among the 400 county leaders who participated in Texas Farm Bureau day at the Capital.

Oberhoff says many important agriculture topics were discussed including eminent domain reform, agricultural liens, and water issues.

After meeting with Senator Lois W Kolkhorst and Representative Leighton Schubert, the group filled the galley of the house chamber for the reading of a bill to recognize Farm Bureau's Day at the capital.
