WEEKEND DRUG ARRESTS IN BRENHAM

  

Two Burleson Co. residents face charges in Brenham after their arrests this weekend.

Saturday night, Officer Hunter Andras responded to the 3200 block of S. Blue Bell Rd in reference to a police alarm. The alarm turned out to be false, but Andras saw a vehicle parked close to the business.

Andras said he could smell the strong odor of marijuana coming from the car.

Andras says he saw a marijuana cigarette in the center console. A search of the vehicle turned up more marijuana as well as a small baggy of pills which were determined to be Alprazolam. A false drug test device was also located.

20-year old Alexandra Nicole Winder, of Somerville is charged with:  Possession of marijuana under 2 oz; Possession of a false drug test device; and Possession of a controlled substance under 28 grams

25-year old James Edward Keith, of Caldwell is charged with Possession of marijuana under 2 oz; and Possession of a controlled substance under 28 grams.

 

A Houston man faces a Marijuana charge after his arrest late Sunday night.

Shortly after 11:00 p.m. – Cpl. Edward Ortega conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Willow Grove and Old Mill Creek.

Ortega says he could smell the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

During a search, marijuana was found.

18-year old Jacob Anthony Ramirez is charged with Possession of marijuana under 2 oz. in a drug free zone
