WHO WILL WIN THE 64TH ANNUAL WASHINGTON CO. SPELLING BEE THURSDAY NIGHT?

The best speller in Washington County will be named tonight (Thursday) at the 64th Annual Washington County Spelling Bee.

Twenty-seven of the county’s best spellers will be competing for the crown of top speller, along with a spot in the next round of competition.

The top three spellers in tonight’s local bee will move on to the Regional Spelling Bee, and will also receive cash prizes from KWHI.  The regional bee will held in Bryan ISD on a Saturday in February.  The exact date and location have not been decided.

The spelling bee starts at 6 p.m., and can be heard live on KWHI AM 1280, FM 101.7, and kwhi.com.  KWHI will also livestream the bee on our Facebook page.
