WOMAN ARRESTED FOR WALMART THEFT

  

Officer Mark Pierce responded to the 200 block of U.S. Highway 290 W at the Walmart in reference to a theft.

The caller said a female subject, forty-eight year old Helen Lorine Johnson, had walked past all points of sale without paying for the merchandise.

A records check showed she had two previous convictions for theft. The total amount of the theft was $315.71.

Johnson was charged with theft under $1500, with two previous convictions.

In another case, Officer Hunter Andras was called to the 1300 block of U.S.Highway 290 E in  reference to the theft of a trailer.

The caller said the trailer was stolen sometime between 2pm Thursday and 8 am Friday. The trailer was described as a U Haul enclosed box trailer, valued at approximately $6,000. A dolly was also missing, and its value is approximately $125
