Bethlehem in Independence

The town of Independence will light up for the holidays with their annual “Bethlehem in Independence”.  Guests are invited to the town square on Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11 from 6 to 8 p.m., walk or take a hayride through a live nativity scene.  Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served, along with hot chocolate, cider, cookies and s’mores.  Santa Claus will make an appearance both nights on his firetruck and take photos.  The activities are presented by Independence Community Events, an organization that promotes and supports the preservation of the township of Independence.  For more information, visit the Independence Community Events Facebook page.
