NCRM Library Celebrates 120th Birthday

February 8th, is the date to celebrate the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial (NCRM) Library's 120th Birthday, Hosted by The Fortnightly Club and the Library, the day commemorates the date of February 19, 1901, when Brenham's library was founded by Club members.
11:00 - 1:30 - Members in period dress portray founding Club members
Noon - 2:00 - three area authors showcase their books
1:00 - Welcome, greeting from officials, cutting of the birthday cake
1:00 - 4:00 - birthday cake, cookies and beverages served in the library lobby
3:30 - 4:30 - children's program with Miss LouLou
Authors include Susan Broesche, a retired Texas educator; Wendy Isaac Bergin, principal flutist of Houston's Opera in the Heights Orchestra; and children's author Fawn Berg.
