The meeting this month is at the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library. If you want to order a sandwich box lunch, please mail $15 cash or check payable to Funky Art Cafe by October 5th to Susan Jenkins, WCRW Treasurer at P. O. Box 723, Brenham, TX 77834.
The agenda includes a presentation by incumbent Texas Supreme Court Justice Evan A. Young, who clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and served as Counsel to the Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice, during which time he spent nearly a year based at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, helping lead the U.S. Government’s Rule of Law mission.
The group will start collecting 2023 dues of $35 at this meeting and will have membership forms available. We welcome new members! The public is invited to this meeting, and we hope you can join us and bring your questions.
