BLUE BELL FUN RUN SATURDAY

Organizers for the 36th annual Blue Bell Fun hope the Saturday morning run will be the biggest ever.  That will take some doing.  Last year the run drew 4500 people who ran, walked, walked their dog, and pushed their toddlers in strollers, through some of the most scenic routes in Washington County.

The runners will take off from the Brenham High School parking lot  to run along a scenic trail or rolling hills and bluebonnets.

The Blue Bell Fun Run began in 1978 to benefit the Brenham High School Athletic Programs.

Runners can go on a five or ten kilometer course and there is a one mile kid’s run.

The top finishers will receive medals and plaques but everyone is really the winner because they will have free treats from Blue Bell Creamer
