A Brenham woman faces a drug charge after her arrest Monday night.

19-year old Victoria Lynnette Folsom is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance after she was stopped by Brenham Police, while walking on Highway 36 around 10:30 p.m.

Officer Jonathan Phipps responded a restaurant in the 2900 block of 36 South in reference to a disturbance involving Folsom.

While en route to the scene, dispatch notified Phipps that Folsom had left and was walking north on SH 36.

Phipps and Officer Ashley Burns located her and during their conversation, she allegedly pulled a glass pipe from her purse.

During a search, the officers found methamphetamines.

Folsom is charged with Possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram.

  1. Meth is a very powerful drug that sucks the life out of you literally. Maybe if she would just google to see what chemicals are in meth, she might decide not to use it again. One of the ingredients in making meth is brake cleaner!!! ?

  2. Well, she was an ok girl. Her company and her choices are her own. I do believe she will have a change of heart and consider some better options for herself. Sometimes it takes an event to occur to see outside the box. I do pray her lil one is doing well with family. Get family help and get better Victoria, everything is possible!

  3. Unfortunately not surprising this young lady has been in a downward spiral for years. Feel sorry for her young child. Hopefully this will be the wake up call she needs and she finally gets the help she needs.
