BRENHAM’S MASONIC LODGE MAKES DONATION TO CLASS
Brenham’s Graham Masonic Lodge made a donation today to Trenton Hall’s Computer Science class at Brenham High School. That class is responsible for producing a functioning prosthetic hand for two year old Kaedon Olson with a 3D printer last year. Tres Masser of the Brenham Masonic Lodge presented Hall with a check for $14,000 to allow his class to purchase a larger and more advanced 3D printer. The local lodge raised the funds after hearing about the remarkable work that the students had done in building the hand for Kaedon.
The students are excited about getting the new 3D printer. Trenton Hall explains how it is different from their existing printer:
The class is already working on a new project to produce a prosthetic arm and hand for a first grade student at Brenham Elementary School. The students have been corroborating with students at the University of Central Florida on how to build the more advanced prosthetic. Hall explains:
The new 3D printer is being custom built for the class and is expected to arrive in 7 to 8 weeks.

Great deed indeed! The Mason’s support education in many ways. They also seek to help young children with special needs. This is a great effort to address both.
