BRYAN POLICE MAKE ARREST IN INDECENCY WITH CHILD CASE
On February 6, 2014 a parent brought their daughter into the Bryan Police Department to make a report against their daughter’s former 2nd grade teacher. It was reported that in 2010 while attending Milam Elementary, Asael Paniagua age 34 of College Station, touched the student inappropriately on multiple occasions. The investigation led to the identity of another student. The second student disclosed that in 2007-2008 school year while attending Milam Elementary that she was touched inappropriately. At the time of the report, Asael Paniagua, was employed by College Station Independent School District.
On March 6, 2014 Asael Paniagua was arrested for two counts of Indecency with a Child by sexual contact. This is still an ongoing investigation and The Bryan Police Department will be conducting further interviews with students of Asael Paniagua. The College Station and Bryan Independent School Districts are cooperating fully with the investigation. At this time no further details will be released as it could potentially harm the investigation.

Paniagua is currently at the Brazos County Jail with a $20,000 bond. Indecency with a Child by sexual contact is a 2nd degree felony punishable by 2 to 20 years in jail.
