The weather is the big news on this Halloween in Brenham, Washington and the rest of the Brazos Valley.

A line of rain, preceding a front is dropping rain on most of the area.  Washington, Austin, Grimes, Waller and Lee Counties are under a flash flood watch for much of the day.  The flash flood watch is expected to be in effect until one this (Thursday) afternoon.  Scattered thunderstorms and a few heavy downpours have made their way through the Brazos Valley and more is expected.

For trick or treating there is a chance the ghosts and goblins may walk on some wet streets but the National Weather Service says much of the area will stop before sundown.
