LEISURE POOL OPENS FOR SUMMER
Blue Bell Aquatic Center Supervisor Tammy Jaster says there is plenty to look forward to all summer long at the leisure pool, and it all started (Saturday).
The 13th summer swimming season opened with a full day of festivities and only a one dollar admission. They will be open one to five Sunday and one to four on Memorial Day, Monday.
She says after that, there is a couple of months of a lot of fun for people of all ages.
Moms and Dads will have special days along with swimming lessons for the youngsters and other programs promoting water safety.
Jaster says the pool will be closed for most of next week until Friday. That’s the last day of school and she invites the young people to come out for a swim and a movie in the first of this year’s Floats and Flicks. At about ten minutes after sunset they can watch "Monsters University"
