RADIO SHACK ROBBERY

  

Brenham police are investigating an armed robbery of the Radio Shack Store in the Bluebonnet Shopping Center on highway 36 yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.

Brenham police reports say an African-American man, wearing a grey jacket, a ski mask, gloves an sweat pants entered the store just before three in the afternoon.  Witnesses say he walked around the store for a few minutes before he pulled the ski mask over his face, pulled out a handgun and demanded money and electronics.  He reportedly put several electronic items in a bag. He also took an undetermined amount of cash.

He was last seen fleeing from the back door of the store, and getting into an older model Ford Taurus.  Witnesses believe he headed towards highway 36 south.

Police are reviewing the surveillance videos and are continuing their investigation.
