TEN CUBS SIGN LETTERS-OF-INTENT
Today (Wednesday) is a big day for college football programs across the state and across the nation—it is National Signing Day.
It’s also big day for ten Brenham High School athletes who made their decision to where they would further their education and their athletic career.
Nine members of the Cubs’ football team and a Cub baseball player signed national letters-of-intent at what’s become an annual ceremony at the high school.
Brenham athletic director and head football coach Glen West says this is truly a special senior class….
Among the signees are: Austin Schlottmann with TCU, Courtland Sutton with SMU, Tre’Vonte Johnson at West Texas A&M, Braden Baird with Mary Hardin-Baylor, and five Cubs, Neal Mathis, Taylon Shepard, James Homan, Ryan Nunn and Desmond Lockett sign with Blinn College.
Cub baseball stand-out Theodore Hoffman signed with Howard Junior College.
