TWO DWI BUSTS IN ONE HOUR

Brenham police made two driving while intoxicated arrests less than an hour apart in the pre-dawn hours Sunday.

The first arrest came at 1:10am Sunday when an officer saw some reckless driving in the 2200 block of South Market.

The officer could smell alcohol on the breath of 54-year old Stefan Waskuka.  He had him take a field sobriety test and he failed.

A 22-year old man was arrested after a Brenham police officer saw him driving erratically just past two in the morning in the 400 block of Stringer.  Anthony Adcock finally stopped in the 2600 block of Cheyenne. He appeared to be intoxicated.  He was soon taken into custody and failed a field sobriety test.  Adcock was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
