POULTRY BARNS DESTROYED
A huge fire in Robertson County has destroyed two large chicken barns.
The fire broke out just after 5:00 Thursday afternoon, spreading to two poultry production houses on Rose Hill Rd.
Officials say the structures were empty at the time of the blaze.
The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office says the chicken houses are independent providers to Sanderson Farms. The owners are currently out of the country.
No one was injured in the fire.
