CRACK ARREST AFTER TRAFFIC STOP
A New Year’s morning traffic stop led to a crack cocaine arrest for a 52-year old Carmine man.
Brenham police officer David Dudenhoeffer stopped Christopher Lane Burt of Carmine at the intersection of East Academy and North Market at 10:52am Tuesday morning.
After making contact with Burt, Officer Dudenhoeffer became increasingly suspicious leading to a probable cause search. The search found a pipe commonly used to smoke crack cocaine and a small amount of crack.
Because Burt was so close to the First Baptist Church Day School, he was arrested for possession of controlled substances, drug paraphernalia in a drug free zone.
