TWO BUSTED FOR METH AND MARIJUANA
Brenham police arrested two people for possessing illegal drugs in a drug free zone yesterday (Thursday), during a traffic stop at West Second Street and Church.
Officer Jonathon Phipps stopped an older model Accura at 9:31am Thursday for a minor traffic violation.
The driver, 22-year old Joshua Eric Bryan of Brenham appeared to be unusually nervous, prompting a probable cause search. The search found a small amount of methamphetamines.
A pat down for weapons on the passenger, 21-year old Ryan Carl Kent found a small amount of marijuana.
Both suspects face enhanced charges of possession in a drug free zone because they were arrested near Blinn College.
