BRENHAM STREET CLOSED DUE TO “MINOR” TRAIN DERAILMENT
What’s being called a “minor” train derailment has led to the closing of a Brenham city street this (Thursday) afternoon.
City officials have closed Jackson Street at the railroad tracks after the derailment shortly before 2:30 this afternoon.
The derailment occurred behind Brenham Wholesale.
No one was reported injured.
Officials say they expect Jackson Street to be reopened by this evening.
