MARIJUANA BUST AT WAL MART

  

A traffic stop near the Brenham Wal-Mart led to an arrest for marijuana possession last (Thursday) night.

Brenham police officer Hunter Andreas stopped a car because of a defective break light at 8:23pm.  The driver turned into the Wal-Mart parking lot on Highway 36 South.

The officer could smell burning marijuana and asked to search the car.  The search found a small plastic bag containing the weed.  There were four people in the car, but a 23-year old passenger from Austin claimed possession.   Vernon Eugene Wynn was arrested for the misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
