NEW ADMINISTRATOR FOR BELLVILLE ST. JOSEPH’S

  

The St. Joseph’s Health System has named Mark Riggins as the administrator of the Bellville hospital.  Riggins began his duties Monday.  The Bellville hospital is one of the four hospitals operating in the Brazos Valley area.

Riggins brings more than 14 years experience in healthcare management, including ten years with St. Joseph’s.  He most recently served as operations director for St. Joseph’s Physicians Association.

Riggins was an integral part of the St. Joseph’s team that managed the transition of Bellville General Hospital to the St. Joseph’s team in 2013.

Riggins says he is especially excited about the recently announced expansion of the Bellville hospital’s emergency department.  Groundbreaking for the 3500 square foot addition is expected this summer.
