POT BUST IN THE PARK
Two men were arrested for misdemeanor marijuana possession in a drug free zone late Saturday night, when Brenham police found them near Jackson Street park.
Sgt. Curtis Schoen of the Brenham police department saw a white jeep at the park off Mansfield Street just past 11pm Saturday. He wondered what they were doing there so late so he approached them.
He could smell a strong odor of marijuana when the driver opened the door. A probable cause search found residue of marijuana and some drug paraphernalia.
That led to the arrest of 27-year old Damien Rodriguez of Beasley and 22-year old Adolphus Clark of Euless were arrested for possession of marijuana in a drug free zone.
