SPEEDING POT BUST

  

An Austin woman speeding through Brenham in the 1000 block of Highway 290 east ended up in the Washington  County jail when a small amount of marijuana was found during a traffic stop during the noon hour Tuesday.

Brenham police officer Tommie Kurie stopped  Jordan Alyssa Ray when he clocked her going 78 in a 60 mile per hour zone.  He could smell marijuana and asked to search her car.  She had two plastic bags with misdemeanor amounts of marijuana and was arrested.
