Members of the Blinn Buccanners' National Championship volleyball team were the guests of honor Monday night at Nathan's Barbeque for a live edition of the Brenham Sports Line.

Nathan Winkelmann hosted the Sports Doc and members of the back-to-back champions just two days after they became the first team to win consecutive NJCAA volleyball titles in a dozen years.

It was the Bucs' third title in four years and their fours in seven seasons.

Head Coach Erin Mellinger and the players received congratulations and accolades from Washington County Judge John Brieden, Brenham City Manager Terry Roberts, Blinn President Dr. Harold Nolte, Blinn Athletic Director Scott Schumacher and Buccaneer Alumni Letterman Association President Kevin Bosse.

Since the start of the 2013 season, the Buccaneers are 79-4.

In 41 matches this season, the Buccaneers lost a total of just 10 sets, while winning 120.
