BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT
On Monday at 9 AM, Cpl Casey Thumann responded to the 1500 block of Farewell in reference to an assault that had occurred the night before.
The caller said she and her brother had gotten into a verbal argument, during which he started hitting her.
During the investigation, marijuana was found in the suspect’s room.
Arrested was 45-year old Jo Howard Straughn Jr. of Brenham, charged with Assault family violence/possession of marijuana under 2 oz.
